The action of the novel takes place on the lands of Idmund, where the Moon Goddess and the Night God rule. Formally, they are husband and wife, but they have been opposed to each other for many years. Due to their enmity, many spirits began to leave the lunar skies and become either dark or light spirits so that people would not feel the power of the gods so much.

For the gods, the idea with the spirits seemed wonderful, they concluded a temporary truce between themselves, but transferred their anger to people and spirits, so higher spirits appeared - Puranim and Tenanim.

In the lands of Inmund, there are several types of spirits that can wander or bring good luck to people.

Ordinary spirits (formerly ordinary people) are the dead souls of people who are usually destined to go to the lunar lands. The Priestess of the Moon can complete their wandering.

Mighty Spirits - these spirits are equal in strength to the Moon Goddess. They are also called Puranims, they are considered the keepers of history, they can send the spirit to the Lunar lands with one click. No matter how they are called a bright spirit, they are practically unemotional and Puranim can be seen by a person who is dying.

Dark spirits - feed on the negative energy of a person: aggression, fear, pain. Such spirits do not control their hunger and can feed on one person for three to five days. They are called Giranim.

Spirits dark Mighty - everything is the same as that of Giranim, although they can think, control their hunger and use witchcraft in some way, though not everyone can do that. Such spirits are called Tenanims and they can equal the power of Puranima.

All actions in the main character will take place in the city of Idris, this is considered a neutral territory between the kingdoms of Eden and Daath. There are no royal families in Idris, it is considered a democratic city for various creatures of the lands of Idmund. Idris is considered to be a city of magic and inventions, rich history, best universities and libraries, but the flaw of Idris is the huge number of dark spirits wandering around the city every night.The land on which the city itself is located is considered the place of gravity of the moon. There is a legend about the dangerous night of the Twin Moons, when any spirit can become a person again, but for this you need to sacrifice two people to come to life. Such moons appear every year in the middle of summer, their appearance can be controlled by the Puranimas and the priestesses of the moon.
